A National Leader

Pennsylvania is being heralded as a leader in the health care safety movement because of its lead in mandatory reporting of hospital acquired infections as well as data collection.

These state organizations should be encouraged to include a Patient/Family member(s) on their Advisory Boards while they work to successfully implement the health care safety best practices.

Alert: the Pennsylvania Patient Safety Authority's Public Meeting has changed location for May.

Monday May 12, 2008 5PM at the Crowne Plaza Valley Forge Hotel, King of Prussia

The Pennsylvania Patient Safety Authority will convene its public meeting.

A temporary itinerary can be viewed by clicking the above link.
